Facilities Use Request

Individuals or groups wishing to use facilities located on the Capitol Complex for a special event or display need to submit a Facilities Use Request application form. The application form and its corresponding brochure (below) are in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. It is best to call first to see if the location is available for your preferred day and time. Please read the Use of Public Property and Office Buildings brochure.  The brochure provides information regarding events or displays on State property or in State office buildings. NOTE: The individual signing the Facilities Use Request form will be held responsible for items outlined in the Requirements section of this brochure.

Please complete the Application for Use Capitol Grounds or Rotunda for Weddings application form if you are interested in holding your special event on the Capitol grounds. Please note that these weddings are no-frills; many restrictions apply.

Individuals or groups wishing to use the Visitor Center need to complete the Use of the Visitor Center application form and to read the Use of the Visitor Center brochure. It is best to call first to see if the location is available for your preferred day and time. Phone:  (605) 773-3344. NOTE:  The individual signing the Visitor Center application form will be held responsible for items outlined in the Requirements and in the General Visitor Center Rules sections of this brochure.
