Entering Numbers:
Be sure to enter the decimal point for all dollar amounts unless you are entering a whole number.
City Codes:
When entering a city code, you can enter it with or without the hyphen.
Example: Sioux Falls city tax code should be entered as 330-2 or 3302.
Navigation:
DO NOT use the Back or Forward buttons on your web browser to move between pages. You must use the buttons provided on the forms.
Next |
Takes you to the next page. You must hit the "calculate" button before using the "next" button or the calculations will not be complete. |
Calculate |
Calculates information entered on the current page. You will stay on the page to review the calculations. |
Submit |
Allows you to submit the information on the current page and takes you to the Print and Confirmation page. |
Quit |
Takes you back to the log-in screen. Does NOT save anything. |
Save & Exit |
Allows you to "save" what you have entered, exit the SDQuest system and re-enter the system later to complete entry & submission of your return. It only saves the return until the due date (23rd of the month). |
