Who Needs a License

• Any distillery that manufactures alcoholic beverages within the State of South Dakota.

Laws

• The department encourages applicants to review the laws that apply to this license. 

Fees

• The distillers license fee is $4000.00, payable to the South Dakota Department of Revenue.  No county or city fees apply to this license.

• The department requires applications to be submitted via regular postal mail with all applicable fees.  Address the envelope to:
