I-90 West Bound Lanes from Vivian to Draper to Open
WINNER, S.D. – Phase 1 construction on Interstate 90 between Draper and Vivian should be complete the week of July 20, 2009. Once completed, head to head traffic on I-90 will shift from the east bound lanes to the newly completed west bound lanes. Work will then begin immediately on Phase II which involves resurfacing the east bound lanes on the same segment of I-90.
During Phase II, Exit 208 will be closed to east bound travelers. Exit 201 will be open for motorists wishing to exit from I-90 into Draper. The east bound on-ramp to I-90 will be closed. A detour route is being provided utilizing SD 248 to Vivian for motorists wishing to access east bound I-90.
Border States Paving, Incorporated out of Fargo, North Dakota is the prime contractor.
