Repair Work to Begin on US Highway 14A in Lead
Rapid City, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Transportation will begin repair work on US Hwy 14A in Lead on Monday, July 13, 2009. The work includes concrete pavement repair and joint sealing on a one mile stretch of US Hwy 14A from mile marker 36 to 37.
Two lanes of traffic will be maintained at all times with minimal delays to the traveling public.
Repair work will be suspended from July 23 through August 10, 2009 due to the increased traffic during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
The prime contractor is JV Bailey from Rapid City, South Dakota.
