Where: 212th Street at Rose Hill Recreation Area, 10 miles south and 3 miles west of Wessington, SD
Driver: (Fatal) Katherina Naw (Age 33) of Huron, SD
Passenger: (Fatal) Nang Zin Naing (Age 1) of Huron, SD
Vehicle: 2000 Toyota Camry
Description: A 2000 Toyota Camry driven by Katherina Naw was traveling westbound on 212th Street approaching the Rose Hill Recreation Area. The driver lost control on the curves in the road. The vehicle left the roadway traveling into the south ditch. The vehicle entered the lake at Rose Hill Recreation Area. The vehicle was submerged in water and the driver and passenger were unable to exit the vehicle. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
