$24,837 Dakota Cash Jackpot Won
(Pierre) - A single ticket matched all five numbers in Wednesday night's drawing to win the $24,837 Dakota Cash jackpot. The winning ticket was sold in Sioux Falls.
The winning numbers for the August 5 Dakota Cash drawing are 10, 12, 15, 19 and 26.
Lottery director Norm Lingle said the ticket holder should sign the back of the ticket immediately, put it in a safe place, and contact the Lottery office in Sioux Falls (605-367-5840) or the main office in Pierre (605-773-5770) to make arrangements to validate the ticket and claim the prize. The winner has 180 days to claim the prize.
Dakota Cash is played only in South Dakota. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1:324,632. The jackpot starts again at $20,000 for the next drawing on Saturday night.
