SD Highway 244 to Undergo Repair
RAPID CITY, S.D. - The South Dakota Department of Transportation will begin work on SD Hwy 244 near Mt.Rushmore the week of August 17, 2009. The work will involve concrete surface repair, joint resealing and guardrail upgrades.
Traffic will be maintained throughout the project. Flaggers will be in use at times and travelers should expect minor delays. The expected completion date is October 23, 2009.
The prime contractor is J. V. Bailey Co, Inc. of Rapid City.
