US Highway 85 construction to begin
DEADWOOD, S.D. – Department of Transportation officials say construction work on US Hwy 85 near Mt. Roosevelt Road/Tatanka will begin on September 15, 2009. The work will consist of widening US Hwy 85 to provide turn lanes from both directions and a new approach at Mt. Roosevelt Road. Intermittent lane closures will be required to complete the work.
The expected completion date of the project is October 21, 2009.
Tru-Form Construction, Inc. of Black Hawk, SD is the prime contractor on this project.
